Yester Family
The photographs accesible from these photo galleries span from the early 1900s to the present. Here you will find photo's from the early years of the Yester, and Franklin families all the way through present times. You will also find photo's of the friends we went to school with, and those who we grew up with during the 1960s and 1970s in the Crestwood Forest neighborhood. There is also a photo gallery of the Mann family and Steve Yester's family. I worked on three main projects for these galleries, and spent dozens of hours scanning thousands of slides, and old photographs taken by my father and family, Steve Yester's family, and those taken by my father-in-law, Earl Mann. I spent many more hours on other projects scanning photo's from old photo albums, and boxes of negatives. Some of the slides, and photographs date back to 1940, and the scans turned out remarkbly well for objects that are at least 70 years old. I hope you enjoy the memories found here.
Photography is a hobby that I've enjoyed for many years. I've learned a lot over the years, and credit my father-in-law, Earl Mann with a lot of my knowledge.
There are currently almost 2000 photographs in these galleries going all the way back to the early 1900s, and up to more recent times. If you grew up with the Yester's in the 1960s and 1970s there is a good chance you will find old photo's here of you, and or your family from that time. Take a look at the 1950-1970s Old Yester Photos, 1960s Old Photo Albums, and the 1967-1973 Saint Francis Xavier School galleries. If you are a cousin there are probably photo's of you too in some of the galleries. Basically anyone who hung out with, or visited the Yesters during the 1960s, 70s and 80s stands a chance of appearing here.
The ten plus years I spent in the Air Force were some of the most formative in my life, and I'm forever grateful for having had the opportunity to serve my country. Serving in the Air Force was a life changer for me, and one of the best decisions I've ever made.
This is a project I did for my father-in-law Earl Mann. There are currently over 1600 photographs of the Mannfamily in these galleries spanning the 1950s through the 1970's. This was my second largest slide scanning project, and well worth the time. A large number of the scans turned out very good.
This is a project I did for Steve Yester's Family. There are currently over 500 photographs of Steve's family and friends in these galleries spanning from the mid 1960s through the mid 1980's. This was my third largest slide scanning project, and well worth the time. A large number of the scans turned out very good.
